EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

 

Keith Wayne, CEO/President:  Keith  began his career in the construction industry in 1979. He founded WBI in June, 1985 with a vision of becoming the premier turnkey concrete construction company in the region.
 

Keith is a member, and very active, in many professional and civic organizations. Notably, he is a past chairman of the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation , CAGC Building Division and the Kannapolis Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Regional Partnership, Carolinas Associated General Contractors, Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Medical Center Foundation. He is currently serving on the board of directors for  The Associated General Contractors of America,  The American Society of Concrete Contractors, The Executive Advisory Council for Middle Tennessee State University's Concrete Information Management Program, and BB&T Advisory Board for the Charlotte Metro Region. He has recently assumed the duties of Chairman of the Board for the Carolinas Construction Education and Research Foundation for which he was a founding member.

  Bobby Phillips, VP Preconstruction:  Bobby is an alumni of Virginia Tech and joined WBI shortly after its inception in 1985 as an estimator and project manager. Bobby no longer manages projects but is still the head estimator as well as overseeing all phases of preconstruction.
  John Ashworth, VP Field Operations: John started his career with WBI in 1988 as a carpenter’s helper. He worked his way through the ranks from Superintendent, to Finishing Group Manager, and on to VP Field Operations.
  Andrew Rogers, VP Construction Management:  Andrew received his bachelors degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and his masters in Construction Science from Clemson University. He began with WBI in 1996 as a project manager.
   Jason Sisk, Safety Director: Jason began his career with Wayne Brothers in 2005 as a Site Safety Officer where he was responsible for job site inspections and related documentation. Jason has a Masters degree in Technology from Western Carolina University, where he received a safety certification through the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
